“Autotelic Nosebleed” is the first taste from LAPêCHE on their new label home, Tiny Engines. The band's brand of melodic indie punk has never sounded more urgent with production from Alex Newport (At The Drive-In, Bloc Party, Death Cab For Cutie). The song is a call for presence and persistence. With hypnotic repetition and clarity, the track rejects outcome-driven pressure in favor of immersion in the moment. It's an anthem for those who create for creation’s sake, where the work is the reward. LAPêCHE is carving space for emotional complexity in indie rock, never performative, always present. "Autotelic Nosebleed," opens the door to a new era of resonance and release.

LAPÊCHE is singer and guitarist Krista Diem, her husband and bassist Dave Diem, and guitarist Drew DeMaio. The band fuses purposeful melody with sonic backdrops inspired by indie-alternative aesthetics and DIY ethics. As they’ve blossomed from a singer with a backing band to a full-blown collaboration, their songs have found the power to dive deep while shining brightly, pushing toward personal growth as we collectively stare down the void.
