Lili Trifilio of Beach Bunny kicks off a multi-date U.S. and Europe tour today with the release of her highly anticipated sophomore album Emotional Creature via Mom+Pop Music. The new album brings a polished and beautiful approach to indie pop with catchy melodies and punchy, layered guitars. Working alongside producer Sean O’Keefe, known for work with Fall Out Boy and Motion City Soundtrack, Trifilio blends a soft pop sound prevalent in the early 2000’s with honest, genuine lyrics that are sure to spread like wildfire to new audiences on and off TikTok.

Of the album, Trifilio notes, “Emotional Creature is, at its center, an album about allowing oneself to feel the full spectrum of human emotions, to let go of the shame associated with having big feelings, and to be more kind to yourself. We are all humans enduring a lifetime of experiences - I wanted this album to be authentically vulnerable and not only cover topics that cause big emotions to arise but to address the shame that many, including myself, carry with respect to what we choose to express as acceptable emotions and what emotions are deemed inappropriate. It can be quite suffocating for me to not allow myself to process and feel and this album in a way gave me permission to feel everything I was suppressing for a long time.”

Beach Bunny has garnered over a billion streams across her discography and sold 60,000 tickets and counting since the beginning of 2020, with three consecutive singles on the Alternative radio chart, “Cloud 9” cracking the top 25 and going RIAA-certified Gold, her second Gold single of 2021 following “Prom Queen.”

Honeymoon earned her best of the year highlights from NY Times to Rolling Stone and she continues her surging path ahead with performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

Trifilio will join Panic! At The Disco on a handful of their dates before moving onto the Europe leg of the trip. Be sure to grab your tickets for the upcoming tour here.
