Wild Rivers Launch Multi Date U.S. Tour

Over the last three years, indie-folk band, Wild Rivers, has accumulated more than 30 million plays on Spotify and toured through the U.S. and Canada. A Toronto-based band through and through, they find their inspiration primarily from the 1970s, admiring artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, and James Taylor.

They have released a video for “I Won’t Be Back”, a single from their recent EP, Eighty-Eight, showcasing their skill of blending storytelling and melodies together flawlessly. Looking at the story behind the song, the band states the track “is about coming to terms with a finished relationship, and the mixed feelings that can come with that. We wanted the tone of the video to capture both sides, the sadness over lost love as well as the celebration of a fresh start.”

In addition to the release of their Eighty-Eight EP, Wild Rivers launched a multi-city U.S. tour, including dates in New York, Los Angeles, and Denver, plus a handful of the country’s best folk festivals.

Wild Rivers is composed of Khalid Yassein (vocals, guitar), Devan Glover (vocals), Ben Labenski (drums), and Andrew Oliver (guitar, bass).
